Correcting a Hexagon Metrology machine

Registration

Owners of Hexagon machines and certified technicians are entitled to request a user name. Our service team will process your registration. You will receive your token to set your password as well as your username by e-mail.

Forgot your password?

Enter your username on the password forgotten and click "reset password" to receive your username and a token by e-mail.

Identifying with this token, you can choose a new password.

This password has to contain between 6 and 10 letters, may not contain your username and has to comply to at least two of the following criteria:

• lower- or capital letters
• numbers
• special chars (e.g. '.', '!', '%', '&', '=', '?', '_', '+', '-')

Request password reset code

Select Maschine|Geo (code request) to map your machine. Choose machine type, enter your machine number and click "next".

The machine displays a "Basiccode", which you enter in this website to calculate a "Keycode", which can then be entered into the machine via port 2001.

You will be prompted for a basic code, which consists of six pairs (i.e. 12) of hexadecimal digits and which can be obtained from the machine with the help of the "Testsoft" menu:
Start the menu with the "Testsoft" command.
Then enter:

    1 Machine Function Test
    N Set Machine number
    2 Create Basis Code
    y Create a new code

In the latter case you do not need to enter a basic code on the second screen of the wizard. The website might ask you for the name of the operating company of the machine (customer).

The last page will show your keycode.

You can activate your key code as follows: Start the menu with the command "Testsoft".
Enter:

    1 Machine Function Test
    N Set Machine number
    3 Use Code

It is recommended to switch on "ECHO", i.e. displaying the entered characters, with CTRL+E. Please note: You have three attempts to enter the correct code. You can not delete characters you just entered.

This website will only grant you a limited number of codes in a certain period.

You may only request a certain number of codes in a certain period, requests for the same machine on the same day (in CET timezone) will be counted as single request.
